Architectural duo Robert Farquhar Train and Robert Edmund Williams helped cement the Arts & Crafts Movement in the historic Garvanza District of Highland Park by lining the streets with enchanting Craftsman bungalows.
Members of the Arroyo Guild (a collective of craftsmen and architects) joined together to design and build “useful things of superlative excellence and beauty.”
While dotting Los Angeles with landmarks including the Angels Flight funicular railway and Judson Studios they also built homes like 901 N Avenue 66.
